Best of Luck to Le Chéile AC Athletes Competing This Weekend
Best of luck to our Le Chéile Athletics Club members who will be representing the club this weekend across a wide variety of endurance, cross country, and track & field events.
Kicking off the weekend late on Friday night (16th January, 11:00pm), David Power will take on the Art O’Neill Challenge, widely regarded as one of the toughest endurance events in Ireland. The event follows the historic and demanding route from Dublin Castle to Glenmalure, with participants facing extreme conditions and challenging terrain throughout the night.
On Saturday 17th January, Caoimhe Cronin opens her 2025 track season as she competes in the 200m at the AAI Games, marking an exciting start to the year.
Action continues on Sunday 18th January at the Leinster Cross Country Championships, where Brian McGrath will line up in the 4km, while Kevin Gough and Brendan Kearney compete in the 7km, representing the club against strong provincial competition.
Also on Sunday, Kylie Mhondiwa (U15) will compete in the Combined Events at Leinster and National level, a fantastic achievement and an opportunity to showcase her all-round athletic ability.
We wish all our athletes the very best of luck this weekend. Enjoy the challenges, compete with confidence, and represent Le Chéile AC with pride.
💙❤️ Best of luck from everyone at Le Chéile AC!
