🎉 Le Chéile AC Awards Night 2025 – What an Incredible Evening! 🎉
Last night, Friday 21st November, we celebrated another fantastic year for Le Chéile Athletic Club at our annual Awards Night. It was a brilliant evening filled with smiles, well-deserved recognition, and a strong sense of club spirit.
A huge well done to every athlete who took home an award. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for athletics were clear to see throughout 2025, and we are very proud of what you have achieved.

Spirit of Le Chéile AC – Perpetual Award
A very special moment on the night was the presentation of the Spirit of Le Chéile AC Award, given in memory of our club athlete Alice Flanagan, who sadly passed away in 2017 at just 15 years of age. Alice was a cherished member of the club from the age of 7, and her legacy continues to inspire the values of teamwork, kindness, and determination within our community.
We were honoured to have Alice’s parents, Patrick and Fiona Flanagan, in attendance. Patrick shared a heartfelt speech before presenting this year’s award to Abbie Bolger – a truly deserving recipient who embodies the spirit of the club.
We were also delighted to welcome Philip & Nora McDermott, long-time club stalwarts and honorary life members, whose continued support and presence mean so much to our club family.
