Details of the 2017/18 Leinster Track and Field Squads.
Dear Parents & Athletes,
Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce details of the 2017/18 Leinster Track and Field Squads.
The Development Squad takes place each day and is open to all athletes aged 12 years +. The squad will cost €5 per athlete each day. DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE. Please check in at the venue a half hour before the start. Events covered on the Development Squad are as follows:
Day 1 11am-1pm Sprints, Middle Distance, Shot, Long Jump
Day 2 11am-1pm Hurdles, Middle Distance, Javelin and High Jump
Day 3 11am-1pm Sprints, Middle Distance, Shot, Long Jump
Day 4 11am-1pm Hurdles, Middle Distance, Javelin and High Jump

December 16th 2017 Athlone IT Arena 11am – 1pm 1pm-3pm

April 7th 2018 Morton Stadium, Santry 11am – 1pm 1pm-3pm
Leinster Performance Squad athletes please note that Athletics Ireland and Leinster Athletics are jointly running a pilot overnight training camp for Leinster Athletes. This will be held in spring 2018. Dates and venue is yet to be confirmed but we will notify the clubs, coaches and athletes about this initiative as soon as possible. There will be a small supplementary charge for this camp.
